SS #55
I was in HyVee passing by the row with all the band aids and such. A little boy (who was pushing one of those mini carts) says to hid Dad, "Oh! Band aids!" Dad says, "Don't we have band aids at home?" "Ya," said the little boy, "but I want my OWN." Dad mumbled something ... "Okay... common let's go."
The little boy put a box of Hot Wheels band aids in his tiny cart and says, "Yes! Hot Wheels just for ME!"

SS #54
I was on my way to run some errands when I got stopped at a red light on 13th and Grand Ave. It's a long light, so I sat patiently.
A few minutes into the wait, a brand new van went across the road in front of me. In the back seat, a little girl was drawing on the inside of the windows from her seat with those window markers! Love it!
I adore parents that allow their children to express themselves artistically!

Smile Sighting #53
I haven't posted in far too long. One of my goals is to not only post here more often, but to get out and do things that will bring me to Smile Sightings. Here is my frist SS to begin this...
I noticed, while filling my car with gas, that my Nike Shocks make a smile print! :)

Smile Sighting #52
Another picture smile sighting! Roxy took over my Pillow Pet as soon as it walked in the door many months ago. She'll drag it room to room for her convenience. :)
Smile Sighting #51
My smile sighting is a picture this time. Sarah, John, Thomas, Charles (3 weeks old!!) and I went to an Art Walk on Main Street the other day. The majority of the time, Thomas was on John's shoulders and was completely unamused with our adventure. John, however, was REALLY excited about the kettle corn! :)

Smile Sighting #50
This wasn't funny at the time. However, now I get the giggles when I think about it.
Some of you may know Roxy, 1 of 2 of our dogs. She's adorable, sweet, laid back and the stereotypical "lap dog."
At 2:30 in the morning, I get woken up by her, sitting on my chest and pawing at me. Hmm... something is wrong. Now that I'm awake, I have to pee so I go to the bathroom. When I get up, she dashes right to the door. Ya... she definitely has to go. She's NEVER woken me up in the middle of the night to go. I put my clothes on and walk out with her. She DASHES out the door, which is strange because she always waits for an invitation. I hope she's not sick.
She chases a bunny across the back yard, turns around and asks to be let back in.
SERIOUSLY?!
